Strong chelsea

As the season draws to close chelsea hit 7 past a poor but physical stoke to make sure if it came down to goal difference they will be well clear of man u,it's hard to imagine that man u are second with rooney they only serious goal getter "so unlike man u" ,just goes to show how much arsenal lack defensively,as they have more goal scorers throughout the team. The much talked about 4th place takes a twist as villa get back in with a chance but you still feel it's between spurs and man city..Congratulations to Rooney for the PFA well deserved shame as i though Fabregas was outstanding as well, however sorry to James milner but at 24yrs old and and not had a better season than the 22yr old Fabregas i feel he did not deserve this award however good a season he had, which leaves me asking how old can u be,to be called a young player ,cause 27 is still young...?

weekend results

Spurs gave a good account of themselves in recent weeks and maybe done enough for a draw but man u are resilient and are pushing for a 4th league title in a row,Harry seems to have put together a spurs side with flare and a toughness combined with competition for places troughout the team, spurs fans must hope they can hold on to all they players with man u rumoured to be looking at bale and modric(.score 3-1) Arsenal seem to have a comfortable game against man city who looked to have came for,and got a draw, not a spectacle at all as arsenal had the lion share of possession, corners shots on goal but city defended well but offered nothing going forward, the much talked about adebayo sat on the bench and came on as a sub but to no affect.(score 0-0)West ham showed character to overturn a indifferent wigan who can not build on they good results, and after beating arsenal failed to capitalise on a great win,but you feel west ham and wigan will both be playing premier league football next season, but who will be the manager at upton park the fans will be asking?Other scores include..Hull 0-1 sunderland (bent 24 lge goals) wovles 1-1 blackburn

liverpool

liverpool's europa game in madrid was not a eye catching game as they never really offered much in attack, but rafa contiunes to play one up front, thats ok if you have torres,at one nil down rafa took off a striker for a striker?why not lucas for striker or the not yet ready aquallani, which leaves us thinking is he a liverpool mistake or simply just not ready?Atlectico madrid were not at all good on the night with a shakey defence which you thought if liverpool put under more pressure they would almost certainly score.Where does this leave GERRARD who seems to look lost and sometimes confused when he see's torres subbed when they chasing a top four place, and with rumours his ready to leave,is this the time he finally does?liverpool fans hope not..!With man city openly saying they want torres will the spaniard be tempted if they reach a champions league place? On the good side of the season is that portsmouths down fall leaves 7th place open for a euro spot so liverpool will be in europe next season, just not the champions league..!

transfer rumours

transfer rumours

arsenal-

drop zone

west ham done themselves no favours in they bid to stay up,without offering much at anfield, liverpool had one of they easiest,or more comfortable games of the season.west ham still need the points mathematically but i feel burnley and hull will join pompy in the chamionship next season..what more of zola?will he be there next season?who will take over the hot seat at west ham, steve mcclaren, who is one point away of winning the dutch league with unfashionable fc twente, and would have champions league football next season, mark huges, and now alan pardew's back in the fold as his doing a stern job at southampton.is ian dowie the right man for hull?crystal palace, charlton and newcastle fans might like to answer that..!phill brown might have saved hull, but a rash decision to get rid may prove costly,Sometimes we have no idea what dowie will be saying in his post match conference, which leaves me wondering how he gets through to players,i understand mancini more than dowie,as for burley they wonderfull home record we thought would give them a chance is all but a memory as all sorts of problems arise, players leaving at half time to go the pub says it all..bottom 3 hull burnley pompy for me..

arsenal

Well arsenal well and truely out of the title race, if they had any chance they well and truely blew it at wigan, with 10 mins to go 2 nil up and it somehow finished with them 3-2 down, yes ,3-2 down poor goal keeping bad defensive team play all but ends what would of been a great season even if they failed to win the league but run chelsea or man u close, but it seems they bottled it yet again, how many times must we be told this is a young team?it's been together now 3 years so they are wise enough to cope but seem unable.Lack of sigings to much faith in youngster and two ageing centre backs as cover, leaves us all wondering if we'll ever reach the heights again. The core of the squad seems ok but the likes of denilson eduardo both keepers and bendtnar who should be taking his chances is not up to it and maybe needs a lesser club to express himself, with gallas now 33 where do we go now...

Chelsea's title

Well with arsenal failling to win at spurs,it all but ends they title charge, but on a positive robin van persie looked like he was never away adding a attacking threat arsenal lacked in the first half even having all the ball possession, losing vermaelen maybe for the season and denilson a doubt for wigan, there might be a chance for some of the youngsters to get a game..Man u showed the title fight with a late goal to they rivals at city with a goal by paul scholes who had a decent game in midfield, but seems alot asking spurs to win back 2 back games against the so called big 4,which for me leaves chelsea as title winners...Arsenal's failure to strenghten at the back could cost them even a 3rd place as sol campbell and sylvestre look likely to play at wigan..

the title run in

So chelsea seen off bolton, not without some dubious decisions, which included a clear handball from drogba, and a questionable handball from john terry. The game started of evenly and had bolton been given the pen who knows maybe they could of got a draw, even though they have a poor record against the so called big 4 this season,we'll never know..So bring on the london derby a game arsenal have to win if they are to have any chance of catching chelsea and staying in with a shout, should be interesting,as both teams have injury concerns, and spurs having played at the weekend and suffered a suprise defeat to portsmouth and having to play extra time did'nt help harry.Aston villa take on everton but i feel it's to late for villa to grab a champions league place having drawn to many games, while everton seem to be finshing the season strongly aiming for a european place..but i expect a draw..

premier league run in

AS the premier league comes to a close,3 teams in with a chance of lifting the title,Chelsea are by far the favourites as they lead the table with nearly a full squad to pick from ,while MANU and ARSENAL,especially continue without some of they top players...Better news for arsenal fans with the news that VAN PERSIE is back in training and could make the squad for the crucial game at SPURS..
