world cup/england

So the world cup well and truly on,some new faces like Ozil,Muller,Saurez,Sanchez all look the part and a few others...France were a laughing stock and England not too far behind,as the team did not look right,Rooney A.Cole Barry among others who under performed..Did the ball cross the line...YES.but lets not use that as a excuse to cover up cracks in the team, lennon for Theo not worked as he never scores or looks like scoring,SWP for Johnson simply wrong as England had 2nd oldest team..Can we keep blaming the coach, and not players.? as all coaches can't be wrong...Time to pick the young stars and play the best team regardless of big names..." .best team over best players,,,,"

transfers/world cup

As the season ends silly season begins, with all sorts off transfers branded about Arteta,Buffon,Gary Cahill, and so on to arsenal, who really know's but Wenger, the only comfirmed target is Chamakh,Will he won't he go Cesc if not this season maybe next as it's hard to hold on to a player of his kind who wants to go home...!
With so many shocks as players not being called up by they countries,Ronaldhino - brasil, Benzema, nasri - france and now Ballack through injury which is a shame as i would like to watch the best players on the world stage..Some friends happy as they think it would help England if other nations are weakened but for me,i prefer the best players play, and the best team win regardless of who.....!!i'm sure loads of you will disagree...?

Chelsea win in style

So chelsea win a easy game against wigan 8-0 to see off man u for the title, wigan who offered nothing as a attacking force as expected as they are poor away from home..So well done to CHELSEA..!As for the spurs fans who said they hoped fulham do them a favour and beat arsenal so they can clinch 3rd,forgot that they needed to beat burnley first which proved harder then they expected and it ended 4-2 to burnley.Arsenal however strolled passed fulham 4-0 as they had the europa final on they minds.liverpool failed to end on a high and finished in a stale mate at hull leaving fans wondering what is going on with RAFa'S future and that of Torres and Gerrard.. Final season scores... Che 8-o wig, Arsenal 4-0 Ful, Hull 0-0 Liv, Burn 4-2 Spurs, Eve 1-0 Ports,.Wolves 2-1 Sun, Man u 4-0 stoke,AST 0-1 Blackburn,Wthm 1-1 Man c, Bolt 2-1 Bir

season ending

Arsenal fans must be glad there is only 1 game left as they are finishing the season poorly,a defeat at rovers means they have lost 3 in the last 4 a stat wenger is not used to,which will leave arsenal fans wondering about signing 4 the new season mainly in defence.Spurs vs man city on weds should make it a little more clear, who will get 4th as city proved they worth coming from behind to see off villa 3-1 to end villa's small chance of 4th.Liverpools season continued down ward as they gave chelsea a comfortable game with gerrard all but setting up drogba with a poor back pass,do they want chelsea to win the league a head of man u.?,you deicide.?so as predicted hull burnley pompy down but pompy still have a chance to seal a bad season with a F.A cup medal, surely not at chelsea's expense..! could they..?

Strong chelsea

As the season draws to close chelsea hit 7 past a poor but physical stoke to make sure if it came down to goal difference they will be well clear of man u,it's hard to imagine that man u are second with rooney they only serious goal getter "so unlike man u" ,just goes to show how much arsenal lack defensively,as they have more goal scorers throughout the team. The much talked about 4th place takes a twist as villa get back in with a chance but you still feel it's between spurs and man city..Congratulations to Rooney for the PFA well deserved shame as i though Fabregas was outstanding as well, however sorry to James milner but at 24yrs old and and not had a better season than the 22yr old Fabregas i feel he did not deserve this award however good a season he had, which leaves me asking how old can u be,to be called a young player ,cause 27 is still young...?

weekend results

Spurs gave a good account of themselves in recent weeks and maybe done enough for a draw but man u are resilient and are pushing for a 4th league title in a row,Harry seems to have put together a spurs side with flare and a toughness combined with competition for places troughout the team, spurs fans must hope they can hold on to all they players with man u rumoured to be looking at bale and modric(.score 3-1) Arsenal seem to have a comfortable game against man city who looked to have came for,and got a draw, not a spectacle at all as arsenal had the lion share of possession, corners shots on goal but city defended well but offered nothing going forward, the much talked about adebayo sat on the bench and came on as a sub but to no affect.(score 0-0)West ham showed character to overturn a indifferent wigan who can not build on they good results, and after beating arsenal failed to capitalise on a great win,but you feel west ham and wigan will both be playing premier league football next season, but who will be the manager at upton park the fans will be asking?Other scores include..Hull 0-1 sunderland (bent 24 lge goals) wovles 1-1 blackburn

liverpool

liverpool's europa game in madrid was not a eye catching game as they never really offered much in attack, but rafa contiunes to play one up front, thats ok if you have torres,at one nil down rafa took off a striker for a striker?why not lucas for striker or the not yet ready aquallani, which leaves us thinking is he a liverpool mistake or simply just not ready?Atlectico madrid were not at all good on the night with a shakey defence which you thought if liverpool put under more pressure they would almost certainly score.Where does this leave GERRARD who seems to look lost and sometimes confused when he see's torres subbed when they chasing a top four place, and with rumours his ready to leave,is this the time he finally does?liverpool fans hope not..!With man city openly saying they want torres will the spaniard be tempted if they reach a champions league place? On the good side of the season is that portsmouths down fall leaves 7th place open for a euro spot so liverpool will be in europe next season, just not the champions league..!
